About Trunk-Back Taxi Signs for Use on Moveable Vehicles

FlashingFX advertising signs for use on moveable vehicles are designed to be weather resistant, extremely effective and easy to install/uninstall. Advertisers will appreciate that after use on a moveable vehicle the sign can be used in alternate locations, such as on a wall in a restaurant, bar, airport, etc.

FlashingFX has taken steps to ensure suitability for use of its signs on moveable vehicles. Patent pending FlashingFX signs for use on moveable vehicles include complete weather-resistant encasement, strong weather-resistant cabling, and auto-on and operator control functionality.

1. Rear Casing: The rear portion of casing material is produced of an advanced new technology in PVC to assure protection against inclement weather, protection against water/vapor penetration, and vandalism. This extremely lightweight product is sufficient in thickness to assure a safe mechanical fastening and an unyielding rigidity to anticipated wind force.

2. Front Casing: The front portion of casing material is comprised of a UV protected, impact resistant modified acrylic.  The thickness of the front encasement material is sufficient to provide excellent protection against water/vapor penetration and vandalism.

3. Sealed Perimeter: FlashingFX uses special adhesive material and/or solvents to form a water/vapor impenetrable barrier around the exterior perimeter of the sign.  This process assures that the sign encasement is not only sufficiently impenetrable to water/vapor, but assures a solid, safe adhesion between the front and rear casing materials.

4. Weather-Resistant Cabling: FlashingFX employs the use of insulated jacketed electrical wiring to assure that any portion of the cable that remains on the exterior of the moveable vehicle is protected from the elements.

5. Auto-On/Operator Override: FlashingFX signs are designed to be operator friendly and provide advertisers the assurance that their signs will be on when expected.  By designing signs to be hard-wired directly to the moveable vehicle’s auto-on headlamp system, drivers are not responsible for turning on signs, providing advertisers assurance that the lighting of signs are not subject to driver compliance.  Some situations may require that the driver temporarily disable the sign from operation while the headlamp system of the vehicle is on, therefore, each sign is equipped with a remote On/Off Override Remote.

6. Mechanical Fastenings: To assure that signs are safely attached to the moveable vehicle FlashingFX signs are manufactured using mechanical fastenings.  Protruding through the rear encasement are four mounting bolts.  The mounting bolts are used to solidly secure the sign to the mounting system employed on the moveable vehicle.  If needed, FlashingFX can manufacture signs to meet specific mounting requirements.

7. Warranty: FlashingFX provides a limited six month warranty.  If there is any failure or malfunction due to workmanship or parts FlashingFX will, at its discretion, either provide a replacement or a pro-rated refund.
